Owned warranty & in-house RMA

Warranty & RMA

We replace it — not the OEM. Every unit carries a Networking Corner owned warranty, with zero restocking fee and freight we pay both directions. Here are the exact terms and the RMA process.

Answer

Manufacturer Recertified and Grade A Refurbished units carry a 365-day owned warranty; Tested Pull units carry 90 days; house-brand optics and DACs carry a limited lifetime warranty. Change-of-mind returns are accepted for 30 days with zero restocking fee. On any warranty claim we email a prepaid label and pay freight both directions. Start an RMA by emailing sales@networkingcorner.com or calling +1 (380) 221-5339 with your order number and serial.

An "owned" warranty means the obligation is ours. When a refurbished unit fails inside its term, you deal with us — not a manufacturer who will tell you the recertification warranty did not transfer to a second owner. One counterparty, one process, freight on us.

Coverage by grade

Warranty terms by grade

The warranty for each unit is printed on its listing and matches the grade. All owned-warranty terms below include seller-paid RMA freight and zero restocking fee.

GradeWarranty termWho honors itCovers
New / Factory-Sealed Full manufacturer term OEM (registered to you) Manufacturer defects per OEM terms.
Manufacturer Recertified 365 days Networking Corner (owned) Functional failure under normal use. OEM recert warranty does not transfer, so we cover it.
Grade A Refurbished 365 days Networking Corner (owned) Functional failure under normal use.
Tested Pull 90 days Networking Corner (owned) Functional failure under normal use (budget tier).
House-Brand / Compatible Limited lifetime* Networking Corner (owned) Optics & DACs: link/optical failure. *365-day owned on other house-brand parts.

What the warranty covers — and what it does not

  • Covered: functional failure under normal data-center operating conditions within the term — a port that stops linking, a drive that fails SMART, a DIMM that throws ECC errors, a PSU that will not power on.
  • Not covered: physical or liquid damage, power surge, unauthorized modification, or consumables. Cosmetic wear on a Tested Pull is expected and is not a defect.
  • Remedy: repair, equivalent-or-better replacement, or refund, at our discretion — whichever gets you back in production fastest.
30-day returns

Plain returns — zero restocking

Separate from the warranty, you may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund, for any reason, with no restocking fee. The market standard is a 15%–25% restocking charge and buyer-paid return freight; we charge neither.

  • Window: 30 days from delivery.
  • Restocking fee: $0.
  • Return freight: prepaid label supplied by us, including LTL for rack-scale returns.
  • Condition: item complete with included accessories (rails, bezels, caddies, cables) and in resalable condition. Data-bearing units you installed are re-sanitized on return at no charge.
  • Refund: issued to the original payment method or PO account once the return is received and inspected.

Firm published pricing: the price you were quoted is the price you pay. We do not reprice after an order is placed, and returns do not carry hidden deductions.

Process

How to start an RMA

  1. Contact us. Email sales@networkingcorner.com or call +1 (380) 221-5339 (Mon–Fri 8:00–18:00 ET) with your order number and the unit serial, and a short description of the fault.
  2. Get your RMA number. We issue an RMA number and a prepaid shipping label, usually the same business day. No pre-charge, no deposit.
  3. Pack & ship. Use the original or equivalent anti-static packaging. Rack-scale units are collected by our LTL carrier on a scheduled pickup.
  4. Resolution. On receipt we retest the unit and repair, replace, or refund. Advance replacement is available for approved accounts to avoid downtime.

FAQ

Warranty & RMA questions

How long is the warranty?

Manufacturer Recertified and Grade A Refurbished units carry a 365-day Networking Corner owned warranty. Tested Pull units carry a 90-day owned warranty. New / Factory-Sealed units carry the full manufacturer warranty, and house-brand transceivers and DACs carry a limited lifetime warranty.

Is there a restocking fee?

No. Networking Corner charges a zero restocking fee, compared with the 15% to 25% common in the refurbished-hardware market.

Who pays for RMA shipping?

We do. On a valid warranty RMA we email a prepaid return label and pay freight both directions, including LTL for rack-scale equipment.

How do I start an RMA?

Email sales@networkingcorner.com or call +1 (380) 221-5339 with your order number and the unit serial. We issue an RMA number and a prepaid label, usually the same business day.

What is your return window?

30 days from delivery for a plain change-of-mind return, with zero restocking fee and a prepaid label. The warranty period is separate and longer, and covers functional failure.

Does the manufacturer's warranty transfer to me?

On New / Factory-Sealed units, yes. On Manufacturer Recertified units the OEM recertification warranty does not transfer on resale, so we cover those units with our own 365-day owned warranty instead.
