40GBASE-SR4 QSFP+ Transceiver (Compatible)

The QSFP-40G-SR4 is a 40-Gigabit QSFP+ optical transceiver for short-reach multimode links, using four parallel 850 nm lanes over an MPO/MTP-12 interface — supplied compatible-coded to your platform.

Four lanes each run 10.3125 Gbps for an aggregate 40 Gbps, reaching 100 m over OM3 and 150 m over OM4. Built to the QSFP+ MSA (SFF-8436), it is hot-pluggable and includes DOM/DDM diagnostics. With an MPO-to-8×LC breakout it also operates as 4× 10GBASE-SR, so one 40G port fans out to four independent 10G links.

The EEPROM is coded to Cisco (QSFP-40G-SR4), Arista, Juniper, HPE and other targets so the module is recognized natively. Typical power draw is about 1.5 W; it is a Class 1 laser, commercial-temperature device, fully interoperable with OEM SR4 optics on the far end.

Every unit is tested in-house: all four lanes link-tested, DOM read and MPO polarity checked. A compatible / house-coded optic — not OEM-branded — under our 365-day owned warranty with seller-paid RMA freight and zero restocking fee.
