Dell PERC H730P Mini Mono RAID Controller

The Dell PERC H730P is a 12 Gb/s SAS/SATA hardware RAID controller in Dell's Mini Mono form factor, built on the Broadcom/LSI SAS3108 dual-core RAID-on-Chip with 2 GB of flash-backed (non-volatile) cache.

It drives up to 8 internal 12 Gb/s SAS-3 lanes — expandable through the server backplane/expander to as many as 32 devices — with hardware RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60 plus JBOD passthrough. Write-back caching is protected by a battery/supercapacitor backup unit, and Dell FastPath accelerates I/O to all-SSD arrays. The Mini Mono edge connector seats in the dedicated storage-controller slot of Dell PowerEdge 13G servers, leaving every standard PCIe slot free for NICs, HBAs or GPUs.

0J6WK is the Dell factory part number (also cataloged as J6WK). The "P" designation denotes the 2 GB cache tier — double the 1 GB of the base H730 — for deeper write buffering on parity arrays.
